Port Sunlight festival
Went to the Port Sunlight festival yesterday. They had a vintage fair on with a good choice of stalls. Ended up buying a pair of brown Laura Ashley shoes with laces which look in good condition. Also a good choice of food stalls especially the noodles stall. Had prawns with oyster sauce and vegs , very good !

One year next week
I will have been in my new job for a year this coming week!.
To celebrate the section are going out for a meal in Liverpool after work as we all started together and are all still here ! Been very challenging especially as sometimes we feel we are fighting a battle with the company to get things done ( and some people would rather things were still in London )
We've had to update and change procedures ( not always our doing ) but still people don't like the new way of working as it involves more checks for work done - which really benefits the client against stolen funds etc . I think the old section in London used to correct information if it was wrong themselves and we don't as we send it back to the senders to do !
Have to work next Bank holiday too as we have Irish clients who don't have the May Bank holidays off . My turn is the first one and then other staff are covering the others , eg end of May and August . Still its double pay on overtime which comes in very handy !

Adventure Golf - New Brighton
New Brighton has now got an Adventure Golf course on the site of the tennis courts up by the
Clown statue that greets you on the way into New Brighton from the "dips end " of the prom.
It costs £6.00 for adults and £4.00 for children and there are family packages too available.
I was surprised by how big it was as its 18 holes packed tight together but of a good size and length.
Went there yesterday as it was a nice day but a bit blusterry to play I thought. Will come back in a few weeks when I have more time off to enjoy!
New Brighton was not too bad and quite busy round the supermarket area as you'd expect for a Saturday .... as you can see the lake area was a bit rough and the tide was coming in to .

I'm back ....!!
Hello
Yes I know its been a while but didn't realise how tiring checking work and inputting would be . I have to be careful checking work as millions of pounds go through my fingers every day for clients and we depend on them for work etc.... So consequently I get home and am so tired that I eat and then go to bed or fall asleep in front of the tele!
Have been keeping an eye on the new London fashion shows though . Especially through Stylist magazine and Grazia as they both have good coverage.
Can't seem to find Stylist magazine in the flesh though as its supposed to be available in Liverpool but haven't seen anywhere stocking it yet . Anyone know where? Hve to read the online version although its good but I prefer to read an actual paper version.
Still like my Mod look though which I've been able to buy some of recently as shops are stocking slight versions and 60's clothes at the mo. Strangely one shop thats had a good stock is M&S . Have been some good skirts out recently so have had to have a look of course! ( and a buy ... )
Still like my gardening too and made a journey to "Dobbies" out near Speke airport yesterday. Bought some unusual colour primulas in a very light ping that will look good and some pots for cactus plants for my Mum for Mothers Day soon .
Well thats all for now as have some catching up of letters to write too today . Hope to write some more soon ..
